She's Got Him on a String
She's got him on a string like a dog,
Feeding him dog biscuits and lies,
So he comes back for more and more--
Yes, she's strung him around her thumb.
And it isn't love anymore--
It's just a dance of two egos in need--
If you loved me, you'd do this and that,
And if you don't, I'll find me another.
You can say she's a wicked girl,
Full of lies and feminine wiles,
Knowing how to do what she does
To get men to do what she wants.
But it's only game with her,
For she knows they all want the same--
Just another warm body in bed--
So they get what they want in the end.
What is love but another cliché,
That conceals real needs and wants?
While the price is always too high
For a few brief moments of pleasure.
