E is for the energy of expression,
Exuberance and ebullience --
E is for the existence and
The essence of everyone
And everything --
E is for the effort and exertion,
Echo and echolalia,
Elation and excitement,
Entertainment and excellence,
Extraordinary and extrasensory,
Elevation and ecstasy --
E can be eerie and exotic,
Encompassing and enclosing,
Expanding and extraverted,
Exploring and excruciating,
Engaging and embarrassing,
Elite, extreme and envious,
Exposed and exploited,
Employed and egalitarian --
Ever enchanting and entrepreneurial,
Elegant and exquisite, effective and eloquent,
Erudite and explicit, engrossingly electrifying,
Entreating and enunciating --
E is the epiphany of the esoteric
And exoteric, E is the epitome
Of everything we extol, exaggerate,
Emulate, endure and expel --
E is the eye, the ear, the earth, and the egg,
E the East -- the elemental and
The ephemeral, the extraterrestrial
And everlasting, eternal and endless --
E is what extends and explodes
Like an egregious error or
An enormous elephant,
Who's eaten eighty enchiladas --
Every time we try to express it
In its entirety,
We end up exasperatingly
Empty.
