Poetry by Cathrine Hottran
A Childhood Dream
Once I was
This little girl,
So curious
To see this world.
I had big dreams,
Now can't you see,
But I guess those dreams
Weren't meant for me.
In my dreams
Life was a dance
With lots of loving
And romance.
There were no such things
As fear or sorrows,
Only beautiful
Tomorrows.
But a dream is a dream,
Reality is life,
No one stays forever
In paradise.
