A Boy on the Shore
A boy on the shore
mesmerized by the sight,
Swelling, looming, threatening,
mesmerized by the sight:
Of thousand giants ominous
A revolving door
Opened the abyss.
Falling liquid black and dark,
With waved despair and grey fright.
There frowned above
In blended gusty height,
An evil face.
On the approaching night:
Its insane howl taught
The inky monsters below.
Akin to the deep;
Synchronized with hate
Its ugly leer
Moaned with delight.
He walked in the morning
On the littered beach;
Swelling huge mountains
All danced a blue peace
And sang the mist.
White pods lay glittered
On the treasured sand
Robbed from the beast
Ornate and painted gleaming
The boy smiled at each.
